艾瑞克的兩會感受

I've been extremely fortunate to attend many major events at the Great Hall of the People over the past year.

在過去一年里，我非常幸運(yùn)地參加了在人民大會堂舉行的許多重要活動。

I attended the 95th anniversary of the Communist Party of China as a guest in July.

I returned during the National Day celebration — when I received the Chinese Government Friendship Award, the highest honor the government bestows upon foreign experts for their contributions to China’s development — in October.

其中包括“建黨95周年慶祝大會”，以及去年國慶節(jié)期間在此接受了“中國政府友誼獎”——中國政府頒發(fā)給外籍人士的最高榮譽(yù)。

And I was a guest at a Spring Festival event in January, in which I gave Premier Li Keqiang face-to-face advice.

在今年1月份，我還受邀參加了一個在人民大會堂舉行的春節(jié)活動。期間，我當(dāng)面向李克強(qiáng)總理表達(dá)了我的一些建議。

I felt that way, again, attending the two sessions and especially upon listening to the premier present the government work report.

如今，再次來到人民大會堂，在現(xiàn)場體驗兩會，聽總理作政府工作報告，這種感覺很特別。

These are important moments in a nation of increasing global importance — a place I’ve come to love and call home, a place to explore, to raise a family and do what I can to give back to.

這些都是中國的重要時刻。這是一個全球影響力正在不斷擴(kuò)大的國家；一個我已經(jīng)愛上并把它當(dāng)作是故鄉(xiāng)的地方；一個我要在此養(yǎng)育家庭，去探索并盡我所能去回報的地方。

I’m deeply honored to be front and center on such momentous occasions.

I truly wish China and the Chinese people the best in the coming year — and beyond.

我深感榮幸能身處這些重大場合的前沿和中心。我由衷地祝愿中國和中國人民未來一切順利。

關(guān)于《艾瑞克跑兩會》

今年兩會上，出現(xiàn)一個美國小伙子的瘦高身影，穿梭在兩會會場之間。他叫ErikNilsson，給自己取了一個像模像樣的中文名字：聶子瑞。作為一名為中國日報社的資深外籍專家，戴著厚厚眼鏡片的他除了忙碌的報道工作外，決定每天圍繞一個兩會熱詞，拍一段兩會知識短視頻。
