蘇彥韜先生出生于中國上海，是來自中國大陸的首位擁有美國主流廣播頻道的美籍華人。他是美國鷹龍傳媒有限公司創(chuàng)辦人和美國環(huán)球東方廣播電視有限公司總裁，旗下?lián)碛卸嗉译娨暋㈦娕_(tái)、雜志和報(bào)紙等媒體業(yè)務(wù)。二十年來蘇先生致力于中美文化交流，被美國共和黨國會(huì)委員會(huì)授予全國領(lǐng)袖獎(jiǎng)，美國加州政府任命他為加州眾議院第60 選區(qū)國際貿(mào)易顧問委員會(huì)主席，2009 年被中國僑聯(lián)授予青年委員。蘇先生是好萊塢中美電影節(jié)主席，曾入圍2012 年CCTV“中華之光推廣中華文化年度人物20 強(qiáng)”。為表彰蘇彥韜先生對(duì)中美文化交流的貢獻(xiàn)，2012 年美國加州政府正式命名12 月26 日為加州“蘇彥韜日”。

Mr. James Su was born in Shanghai, China. He is the first Chinese American, from mainland China, which owns main stream radio broadcasting channel in United States of America. He is the founder of EDI Media Inc. and the president of G&E Studios; both include multiple TV stations, radio stations, magazines, and newspapers. Because of his great contribution to cultural exchange between U.S. and China in the past two decades, he was rewarded the National Leadership Award by the National Republican Congressional Committee. California state government appointed Mr. James Su as Chairman of the 60th Assembly District Advisory Council on International Trade. In 2009, Mr. James Su was awarded as National Youth Committee Member by All-China Federation of Returned Overseas. Mr. Su is the chairman of Hollywood Chinese American Film Festival. He is also one of the top 20 nominees of the Chinese cultural promotion executor of Light of China annual award. Due to his marvelous contribution on cultural exchange between U.S. and China and enriching American cultural market, in 2012, California government officially announced December 26th as Mr. James Su's day.
