第73屆聯(lián)合國(guó)大會(huì)防治結(jié)核病問(wèn)題高級(jí)別會(huì)議26日在紐約舉行。

中國(guó)國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平夫人、世界衛(wèi)生組織結(jié)核病和艾滋病防治親善大使彭麗媛應(yīng)邀作為抗擊結(jié)核病杰出人士代表在會(huì)議開(kāi)幕式上發(fā)表視頻講話。

彭麗媛和現(xiàn)場(chǎng)參會(huì)者分享了擔(dān)任世界衛(wèi)生組織結(jié)核病和艾滋病防治親善大使和中國(guó)結(jié)核病防治形象大使十多年來(lái)的經(jīng)歷和感受，介紹了中國(guó)結(jié)核病防治工作人員和義務(wù)宣傳員們?cè)鶎?、默默無(wú)聞、無(wú)私奉獻(xiàn)的感人事跡。

Dear friends, I am Peng Liyuan, the WHO Goodwill Ambassador for TB and HIV/AIDS. Congratulations on this High-Level Meeting, and greetings to you all!

親愛(ài)的朋友們，我是世界衛(wèi)生組織結(jié)核病和艾滋病防治親善大使彭麗媛。祝賀本次高級(jí)別會(huì)議的召開(kāi)，并向大家問(wèn)好。

I became China’s Ambassador for TB in 2007, and the Goodwill Ambassador in 2011. It is a mission and responsibility I cherish dearly. For more than ten years, every year on March 24th, I’ve visited communities with high TB prevalence to help raise awareness, change behavior and encourage actions.

我在2007年成為中國(guó)結(jié)核病防治形象大使，在2011年成為親善大使。這是我珍視的使命和責(zé)任。十多年來(lái)，每年的3月24日，我都會(huì)走訪結(jié)核病高發(fā)的社區(qū)，以提高人們的認(rèn)識(shí)，改變行為，鼓勵(lì)人們采取行動(dòng)。

This year, I went to Hubei in central China. I shared with teenage students important TB-related knowledge, and ways to lead a healthy lifestyle and taught young children the importance of good personal hygiene. In a local village, I met a fully-recovered patient. I encouraged him to become a TB campaigner himself, so that he can share his experience of fighting the disease with more people.
